This individual will partner closely with Procurement, Technology, Finance, Legal, Cybersecurity, Privacy, and Product teams to drive sourcing strategy, supplier management, contract negotiations, and technology investment decisions. The ideal candidate combines strong technology sourcing expertise with commercial acumen, executive communication skills, and an AI-forward mindset. They have experience influencing technology investment decisions, building competitive supplier strategies, negotiating complex commercial agreements, and leveraging data and AI tools to improve procurement outcomes and operational efficiency. This role will sit onsite in Bellevue, WA five days a week.\n\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\n- Develop and execute multi-year sourcing and category strategies across technology spend categories, including SaaS, AI/ML platforms, data and analytics, cybersecurity, professional services, and technology labor.\n- Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives including RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, market assessments, supplier evaluations, competitive bidding events, and commercial negotiations.\n- Draft, negotiate, and execute commercial agreements including MSAs, SOWs, purchase orders, amendments, and other contractual documents.\n- Partner with technical and business stakeholders to translate technology requirements into sourcing, commercial, and financial strategies.\n- Conduct market research and evaluate new and emerging suppliers, particularly within AI, agentic platforms, vertical SaaS, and other evolving technology categories.\n- Build supplier strategies that increase innovation, competition, commercial flexibility, and long-term business value.\n- Develop cost models and commercial analyses using market intelligence, benchmarking data, public information, and unit economics.\n- Evaluate supplier value beyond pricing, including licensing optimization, consumption efficiency, avoided spend, contractual flexibility, and exit costs.\n- Utilize AI-enabled procurement and sourcing tools to support supplier analysis, RFP development, contract review, market intelligence, negotiation preparation, and supplier scorecards.\n- Support the development and adoption of AI-powered sourcing tools and agents to improve procurement productivity and operational efficiency.\n- Lead complex negotiations with suppliers and internal stakeholders while balancing business objectives, risk management, and relationship management.\n- Prepare executive-level business cases, sourcing recommendations, supplier evaluations, and contract summaries for leadership review....you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.
