As a Physical Therapist, you will collaborate with educators and families, tailoring interventions to help students succeed both in and out of the classroom.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid state license as a Physical Therapist
  • Prior experience in school-based settings or pediatric populations preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of therapy evaluation, intervention, and IEP development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to effectively manage caseloads and document progress
  • Flexible, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to adapt to diverse needs and challenges

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ motor needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Integrate physical therapy goals into students' educational programs and participate in IEP meetings
  • Deliver therapy services in both individual and group settings, monitoring students’ progress and adjusting strategies as needed
  • Maintain timely documentation and communication with educators and guardians
  • Consult with teachers and staff to promote safe and inclusive environments for all students
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to keep therapy skills current
