Change Your Life In Seven Days – Finding Your Self Confidence

Are self-confident people as insecure on the inside as you? There are many people in your world that appear confident on the outside, but are relying on their Pretend to make it through the day. Now, the Pretend self is one of three selves that make up our personality.

There is the Pretend self: the person you pretend to be (some people use this in the “fake it until you make it” pursuit of life), your Negative self: all the bad things you think you are, and Authentic self: the person you truly are at the core.

For many, the fear of being judged prompts those to hide behind the Pretend self. A lot of energy is consumed to use the Pretend self as a shield. As you know, it can be exhausting. Those who use the Pretend self on a daily basis will eventually lose touch with the Authentic self.

Negative self is present due to insecurities. When people criticize us, we start a running dialogue in our head that is focused around those criticisms. We try to bury Negative self, but conditioned responses bring it to the forefront without our consent. Say, when someone calls you a name, you become upset. You become upset because internally, you actually believe that you represent that remark. By identifying them honestly, you can let them go.”

On the contrary of the hiding and negativity, the Authentic self is the real you. This identity is the one with big dreams and noble goals. The Authentic self is filled with so much joy when loved ones are near and completely unstoppable when allowed to flourish. Once you identify the negative and false ideas that you have, you can access that Authentic self. You can change your life.
