Surgery, whether elective or required is something many will face at some point in their lives. Surgery is complicated and can have many side effects. Often the consent forms are numerous pages listing everything which could go wrong. Surgery is complicated enough without the added risks of smoking.

Certain protocols are in place to help insure the patient?s safety during surgery. Some of the more common protocols are no food or water twelve hours before and take a shower to minimize the risk of infection. For smokers there is another requirement, no smoking at least two weeks before and two weeks after. Some surgeons may even ask the patient for as long as four weeks before and after the surgery.

According to Anesthesiologyinfo.com, smoking has many seriously concerning risks which can occur during surgery. Smoking increases carbon monoxide which attaches itself to hemoglobin in the blood, decreasing the amount of oxygen getting through the body. The nicotine will make the body need more oxygen which will put stress on the heart, lungs and body which is already under distress from the anesthesia. The heart will not function properly because of the increased carbon monoxide causing the blood to no circulate as it should.

Second, the lungs are more likely to collapse because smoke causes the small airways in the lungs to not function properly as well. Smoking makes more mucus which can leak into the lungs, making the lungs unable to clear it. Smokers are more prone to bronchospasms and lung infections which can be fatal. Smoking has been linked to dozens of side effects from heart attacks to poor wound healing in surgery patients, by as many as six times more.

Doctors want their patients to lead a healthier life and have a successful surgery, so generally surgeons and physicians ask their patients to quit for two weeks before and two weeks after surgery. Many surgeons have asked for as many as four weeks before and after to insure their patients are fit for surgery. However, ideally physicians and surgeons want their patients to make smoking secession a top priority.

Over the years, quitting has become easier. This is mainly attributed to more easily available treatments. Some of the most common treatments are found over the counter, such as the nicotine patch and gum. Some patients choose to try homeopathic treatments such as herbal remedies, acupuncture and hypnosis. Prescription drugs such as Zyban and Wellbutrin have gained popularity as well. Often treatments are combined so the patient can be as successful as possible.

The most important thing to do is talk with your physician to discuss your options and find out which plan will suit you best. Since there are many choices and options available to help you quit, there can be no more excuses. Do not wait until you need major surgery before trying to quit, quit before you get there.

Just about every American has something they wish they could improve. Some wish to be taller, shorter, funnier, or richer to name a few. However there is a fine line between wanting to change something and low self esteem. People who suffer from low self esteem have a negative view of themselves, others, lack self confidence and perform poorly. It is difficult to measure the amount of people suffering from low self esteem as it usually is related to other emotional difficulties.

Self hate, lack of confidence or low self esteem are not learned overnight but something learned though many repetitive situations. Anyone, whether it is a parent, teacher or society can cause a person to have low self esteem. Some parents whether they do it intentionally or not, compare siblings, have unrealistic demands of their children, or simply do not understand the child and berate them for it which leaves the child feeling unloved and detached. Teachers sometimes make the same mistake by being overly critical of students work or compare them to other children, making the child feel like a failure and isolated. Society can play a large role as well by placing very unrealistic expectations on people. Many preteen and teen girls expressed they feel the pressure to be thin simply from an article they read in a magazine.

In today?s society we are losing one third of our youth to drugs, alcohol, eating disorders, jail, teen pregnancy, crimes and violence, drop outs, and suicide according to Selfesteeminternational.org. All of these problems have one thing in common, low self esteem. Some people of society have a hard time accepting negative self image is the cause for all of these problems. However Selfesteeminternational.org reported that 80-90% of pregnant teens do not give up their children because they feel a baby will give them the unconditional love they never had. High school seniors report using drugs and alcohol as a way to fill a personal void and improve self esteem at the rate of 66%.

There are a range of programs which offer help with low self esteem, Some suffers attend counseling sessions, take medication, or read self help books. There are also new techniques being used to help build confidence, one of those is hypnosis. Hypnosis works with the subconscious mind to uncover what memories are causing the low self esteem. Once the memory has been identified, the hypnotist and patient work though the memory and the patient?s reaction to it. Together they help rebuild self confidence and work through all feelings, good or bad until the patient is satisfied with their progress. Since it works with the subconscious mind, it is easier to open up and express feelings you might not know you were having.

Some people still feel that traditional treatments such as medications and therapy are more effective than hypnosis. However, taking medications can only do so much. They work only with your body?s own unique chemical make up. They do not deal with the actual emotional problems low self esteem is causing. Therapy can go on for months before the real trigger and emotional reaction is uncovered and it also deals with the mind on a conscious level. When dealing with the mind on a conscious level, patients often become very censored for fear they are being judged by the counselor. While under hypnosis they sub conscious mind takes over allowing for completely candid thoughts.

You have taken the first step in your treatment, whatever it may be. You have acknowledged that you have issues with low self esteem and want to do something about it. You no longer want to go on feeling the way you do. The choice is yours, will you choose a treatment that could take months and months, will you choose a short term chemical fix or will you choose to open you mind and discovery why you feel the way you do, the choice is simple.

If you are a person who struggles with feeling depressed, you know how hard it can be to overcome these depressing thoughts and feelings. With all of the new anti-depressant drugs that are being advertised nowadays, it might be hard to believe that something like being hypnotized can really be that effective. Hypnosis treatment for depression is known to successfully help patients overcome their symptoms.

It can be difficult to feel open minded about being treated by having someone hypnotize you. The truth is that this method of therapy is nothing new, and is proven to yield results quickly without any major risk to the patient. It’s nothing to be intimidated or mysticized by, either; the process is simple, comparable to becoming lost in a daydream.

If you’re concerned about being treated by a hypnotist, like the ones you see as sideshows at carnivals, you must recognize that there is a big difference between a hypnotist and a hypnotherapist. A hypnotherapist is a health professional who has been trained and licensed. A hypnotist, on the other hand, receives certification by completing a simple course.

When a person is in a hypnotized state, he or she is susceptible to heightened suggestibility. This allows the therapist to guide his or her patient through a set of coping mechanisms that counter depressing thoughts. These techniques help patients overcome bad feelings both in the session and later as they go about their daily lives.

It might surprise you to know that hypnotherapy has been found more effective in curing depressed patients than prescription medications. Health professionals find that drugs usually only mask the symptoms of the greater problem. Patients who go through hypnotherapy usually end up confronting the roots of their illness.

You don’t have to worry about losing control of yourself in this process. Patients have the opportunity and ability to opt out whenever they want to. You might feel yourself becoming immersed in the meditative state, but that’s only because you’re feeling so relaxed.

Anyone out there who’s fighting a constant battle against depressed feelings and thoughts ought to at least give a hypnosis treatment for meditation a try. There is virtually no risk, much less of a risk than taking medication; and you can back out of the session anytime. Do some research if you’re interested to find out where you can find treatment like this that really works.

Ok does empathy have a place in hypnotherapy?

Ok does empathy have a place in hypnotherapy?

The quick answer is no it has no place . Lets start with a definition of empathy. “Empathy- the intellectual identification with or vicarious experiencing of the feelings, thoughts, or attitudes of another.” Dictionary.com

I want to explain the definition above a little it is saying, “the intellectual identification with someone else” Well even doing this is going to bring about a person to dig thru their own experiences, then envisage what it would be like to be someone else having those experiences. You can’t do this with out producing the feelings and emotions that person could be feeling so I do not agree with this particular bit of the definition.

So to be empathic we need to feel what the other person feels to really understand them, to empathize with them. Well this is fraught with danger as a hypnotherapist my clients generally come with many complaint, one thing that’s significant in all this is they’re generally in really painful emotional states. In fact , that is what has inspired them to come and see me for hypnotherapy in the first place.

Some of the emotional states that can make up the state of clients is anxiety, depression, anger, fear, loneliness etc It is mostly a mixture of these feelings they’re often at extremely intense levels. So lets go down the track of empathising! If we do that we must feel what they feel and when we do that how well do you think we are going to be ready to help them? For instance some people I have seen are on the border of a panic attack! Do you really think that’s a good state to be in to help some one?

In the past I have had clients who have impacted my state where it has begun to become a problem with me, to the point that I won’t do my job properly because when you feel badly enough you tend to go inside to cope with it. The emotion essentially distracts you and puts you in a state where your judgement is skewed.

As an example you can concentrate on 7 +- 2 bits of information per second consciously, you can also concentrate on 11 million bits of information per second unconsciously. So what occurs is you use your capacity for helping the customer with handling your anxiety fear etc. Its like you are on a freeway in peak hour traffic, it is choked bumper to bumper so you cannot do anything just traveling barely at 5 kmph. The opposite side is you are relaxed and calm its like their is only a few automobiles of the free way and you can zoom around at 100 kmph. So you have a heap of psychological resources to use to be aware of the client, what they say, what they do body language for example. So you can work out the best way to help them.

Also when you’re in a state of fear you tend to process things differently, you also focus on different things, while you are in a state of being relaxed and calm you will process things totally differently again also paying attention to different things and coming to different conclusions and judgements. So when you are calm and relaxed you are likely to see what’s really their in front of you and not skewed by fear.

So when referring to empathy with a client it is a no no!! You need to keep your self in a state where you can do your job, to the best of your ability while protecting your self from feeling shit and moving into these negative states. I have met other health practitioners who do this and then complain they feel depressed and anxious etc all the time, they can not understand why! It is straightforward they empathise with several clients each day they work going into the negative states of the clients and over time this builds up because they’re in these negative states so frequently while working while at home and so on.

Now to digress a bit I’m certain you have spoken to some one, friend, family member and they dump all of their shit on you! Then you are feeling like shit they have also done this many times to the point where you are beginning to avoid this person. We all know some one like this that causes us to avoid or spend as little time in their company as practical. Why because they lead you to feel bad, so I’d also recommend that you hardly ever do this to folks you know like friends, family etc because you will make them feel bad, I might also tend to change the subject if others try to do this with you protect yourself by every means. Yes I’m aware this is a standard way folk connect and start to know one another gaining trust,. But it comes at a price and their are alternative ways to connect with people than doing this so limit this behaviour as much as humanly possible.

Fascinating question as a hypnotherapist practicing hypnotherapy I've got a different view on this than others may have.

Fascinating question as a hypnotherapist practicing hypnotherapy I’ve got a different view on this than others may have.

First off permit me to say I practice it and it works for me! Asserting that I’m an NLP Master Practitioner and Hypnotherapist so I do tons of work on my self in different ways to improve my life and positive thinking is only 1 facet of it.

When referring to my clients well I must say that positive thinking just doesn’t work the way that my clients have used it, allow me to explain. The clients I see have Problems along the line of depression, anxiety, anger, loneliness, low self esteem and other stuff whatever reson why they come and see me for these make up the primary components of their problem.

Customarily at some specific point in the past they have been introduced to positive thinking to help with their issues either by them-self or other health practitioners. The problem arises as they practice this they’ve still got the same issues as before and they’re still doing in their head what hey have always done to form the depression, anxiety for example. While the new positive thinking is a conscious effort the old Problems are a unconscious process which has been going for decades normally.

So what I find happens with them is they make a new trance or state on top of the old one, ultimately it becomes unconscious mind process as well with time. A way to consider it is well imagine that we are similar to an onion and we have layers to us, the old problems are a bunch of layers of the onion toward the middle while the new positive layer is a new layer of the onion on the outside that sits on top of all the old stuff.

So when I see clients I am going to ask them stuff like how do you feel about the past, future, your spouse, children , parents, and yourself to name 1 or 2. Remembering they came for an issue that is causing them a lot of discomfort. They’ll say stuff like, I’m satisfied, everything is good, my relationship is great. As they say these answers I can see they are lying not at a conscious level because consciously they sort of believe this, its like they have got a split personality when they give positive answers this is due to the fact that that is what you should think and say from one viewpoint! While on the other hand at the exact same time they know they’re distressed, they are effectively in 2 minds. We all pick up on this all the time when some one tells us something and we do not believe it, they’re saying one thing consciously while at the same time they are saying subconsciously through body language something else. This is what I’m picking up on when they’re lying to me.

In this case the positive thinking doesn’t work because it creates ambiguity! On one hand the individual is unhappy and on the other they’re saying they’re not and it complicates the action of helping them. I need to know how they feel about their life, so I know precisely what we need to address so I can help them but they on one had say they are depressed and then on the other answer all other questions as if they haven’t any Problems while at a unconscious level they’re sending a completely different message.

Now what I think these people are doing is utilising the positive thinking in a way to try hiding from their issues, like other people use drugs, alcohol, food and so on. Also a key part to positive thinking is you’ve got to manifest positive feelings with the thoughts!! If you don’t well it will never works no matter how much you do it! At last positive thinking needs to lead directly to positive feelings. I suspect that is the thing they are doing when they’re using positive thinking they’re manifesting depression, anxiety, or negative feelings with the thoughts rather than positive feelings.

Another part of this is I think they also have to do the work to release all the negative feelings, principles and particularly emotions they have stored in their body/mind. Once this is done I think positive thinking can work, because they may then be well placed to manifest positive feelings to go with the practice. As for folks who are not suffering from any real negative emotions impacting their life, I don’t have any idea how it works for them. Though I’m able to guess that if they manifest positive feelings in the act then it should work for them too. I’ve only really addressed issues I’ve found with my clients.

So I believe that positive thinking usually does not work for most people and can be a waste of time. The reason Why I say this Is often because most people don’t know how to do positive thinking and they do not have any real guidance on the way to use it. The majority of the people I know who’ve advised this as a practice to my clients don’t practice it them self, so what does this say for the practice of positive thinking?

Well there are a couple of things you can search for when choosing a hypnotherapist Below is a guide on what to ask and look for it isn’t a rule that they must have all only a guide to finding a Hypnotherapist. You’ll potentially find few that fit all of the criteria below and the more you can tick off the better for you.

Certificate of business registrationHave they registered a business with the pertinent govt. bodies. This goes with out exclaiming they have to be registered with the governing body as a business if they’re not I might avoid them.

Do they sound and appear professional? Do they accept EFTPOS, Credit card transactions?

Having an EFTPOS Machine is vital if they do it implies they’ve a business account with a bank and are registered with the govt as a business so they are likely to be legitimate and reliable.

Where do they work from?

Hypnotherapist will work from a few different locations, Medical Centre, Natural Health Center, Serviced Offices and their home. Lots of hypnotherapists will home work to reduce cost and make things less complicated on them self i.e. Work life balance. So this won’t typically tell you if they’re professional.

What does their practice room look like and how can they conduct them self is the most significant things that you’ll be well placed to notice that may tell you how professional they are.

Do they have a domain and an e-mail using their firm name? As an example do they employ a google email of an address which has the name of business in the address section i.e. Infosynergyhypnotherapymelbourne.com.au

Qualifications

What have they studied and graduated from or got licensed as. Examples NLP Practitioner, NLP Master Practitioner, NLP Trainer Tutor, Hypnotherapy, life coaching and so on. How long have they been studying? Do they continue learning and develop them self in Hypnotherapy, NLP and so on. ?

Here I would advise you find a person who has both training in NLP and Hypnotherapy they’ll be miles better at helping you, than a person who is just qualified in Hypnotherapy.

Do they belong to an association or peak body?

While this is good to have it is not a deal wrecker because these organizations are not monitored or registered with the gov so being an affiliate doesn’t customarily mean that much. Also , I’ve met some folks that are members and have found them to be really bad at Hypnotherapy. Also individuals who are members of these associations tend not to be trained in NLP.

How long have they been working as a hypnotherapist?

Well this goes with out saying the longer they have been practicing and working as a Hypnotherapist the more practice they’ve had the better at their job they should be.

How much work have they done on them-self?

Have they ever tried their Hypnotherapy and NLP etc on them self to help them self with their own issues or challenges. If they have not then I wouldn’t use them the sign of a good Hypnotherapist is that they use it all the time on them self to help in developing and improve them self if they don?t, well they do not have a genuine good knowledge of Hypnotherapy and how emotions/feelings and unconscious mind works. Would you hire some one as a personal trainer who is fat and has no qualification as a personal trainer and never trains them self? I do not believe so.

Do they teach?

This is nice to have because they will have a great deal better knowledge of hypnotherapy, NLP etc if they are teaching and would be better at applying the tools and systems in different situations with different folk.

How much do they charge?

The price a Hypnotherapist charges gives you an understanding as to how good they believe that they are! So if they charge $100-$200 they almost certainly aren’t very confident in their ability and will also likely want you to come back for multiple sessions. So it can add up fast.

If they charge $300-$500 well then you may be more assured that they are confident in there ability to help you, they also are more certain to have only one session or two max for the one price or the second session is at a reduced rate like $100.

Ideally you ought to be having a look at paying rather more for the service, the old proverb goes ?You get what you pay for? After all how much is it worth to you to get your issue fixed permanently?

How many sessions do they require?

The quantity of sessions will give you an indication as to how confident they’re in there ability to help. The more sessions they want with you typically. Indicates they don’t seem to be superb at what they are doing and are probably a behavioural hypnotherapist.

Do they seek the reason for the behavior vs just the behavior it self? Now their are a number of differing kinds of hypnotherapists one is a behavioural hypnotherapist, they can address the behaviour only. While others will ask what is the reason for this behavior and seek to find the explanations why this behaviour is manifesting.

Do you think if I treated a client for the behaviour of alcohol abuse which was a total success! A year later I ran into them and they revealed they had not touched a drop since, but now they are doing cocaine! Do you think I achieved the right end result for them? Technically I did because they’re not drinking so I stopped the behavior! But well the cause of the behaviour is still there and it came out in a different way. So I’m hunting for the reason for your behaviour and remove that and the behavior.

In the past I have seen lots of people who have seen other hypnotherapist for give up smoking hypnosis and it has worked a treat, guess what these folks are now coming to see me for assistance with? Weight Loss because the explanation for the smoking is still there but they can not smoke so they do something else like eating.

Do they require you to do homework?

Almost all of the Problems you experience that you’ll hunt for a hypnotherapist to help with will be habituated behaviours, feelings/emotions/feelings and thoughts at a unconscious level. So giving you homework will not usually be of any help to overcome the difficulty. So if a hypnotherapist insists upon homework I would possibly tend to avoid them.

As I have claimed this is a guide only but this gives you more things to consider when looking out for a hypnotherapist and finding one that is better than others that may be out there. So good luck and do not forget to ask them the questions above.

Many individuals think that all their Problems started from one or two particular events that occurred to them during the past, they point to them and say that’s why I’m the way I am its not my fault. These events can range from things like rape, molestation, physical abuse, beaten etc. The people then will manifest anxiety, panic episodes, depression etc and may try to deal with them by employing drugs, alcohol or other un-useful behaviors. As a hypnotherapist and doing hypnotherapy with clients this is an important thing to grasp and understand.

So is it important when all of the issues started at that event in the past? As an example folk suffer from depression, anxious, low self esteem, hate self etc and make many lasting choices about them self, when these sorts of events occur. For example they may believe that they are unlovable, you deserved it, you don’t deserve to be happy etc.

So is it important? Well No and Yes. The event it self is not vital because that event is over and done with, it won’t change no matter what we do. Even if it did matter we do not have a time machine to go back in time to fix it! Also lets face it the people that have these Problems are not being abused or hurt in anyway today, that is anther reason that explains why those events don?t matter. The single thing that really matters about those events is how the person felt at that point and what choices they made.

Lets face it we have many memories most we won’t remember like work, the experience of work is fairly bland the same experience mostly day in day out, so we find it tough to remember what we did 2 days ago in any detail. While other memories stand out in our memory, we think about them easily and they can have happened 30 years ago but the memory is fresh and feels like it happened only a week ago. So whats going on with these memories? Well they generally have a lot of emotions attached to them! Either positive or negative and it’s the emotion that keeps it fresh in our memories and keeps us recalling it easily.

So most clients I see have no issue with the memories that are positive, they’re actually happy about them however when referring to the bad ones they loathe them and think of them all the time. This is thanks to the fact that the emotion draws there attention like a massive fire on a hill it’s easy to see.

Now the thing is you store all of your feelings in your body, these emotions are attached to memories so when you go back to a memory and consider it you re-experience the feelings you had the 1st time. Whenever you go over a memory you actually add a touch more of the same feelings to the memory, so over a period you can amp up the strength of the feelings attached to those memories, adding more and more layers of those feelings.

Also behaviours can be anchored or attached to these feelings as well , so when people think about that memory they have that feeling and they then do that behavior what ever it may be. The emotions bind the whole sequence together really firmly! So that memory is not truly the problem it’s the way they keep thinking of that memory today and recreating the feelings in side that memory today. Then also doing any of the behaviors triggered from this memory today they’re doing today, in their own head that is what the real problem it is not what occurred 30 years ago.

So if this is true then the event must matter!! Well no it does not truly remember you cannot change the event in any way the trick here is you can change how you feel about the memory. Imagine if you were going to remove all of the negative feelings from that memory or event what would occur? Well typically what happens is you get your customer to go back in to the memory, and they feel absolutely nothing. They don’t have any feelings about the event either way no matter what occurred. I’ve had 1 or 2 experiences where I have treated girls who have been raped! And they are completely in a mess before they came and saw me then after I have worked with them. Now I ask them to go back to the memory or the rape and they burst out laughing! It had been a little weird the first time, but a very good thing! They saw that event in a totally different way, realising that the event had nothing to do with them, it was not even about them and they felt sorry for the guy concerned.

When you do this kind of work then have these results, any behaviors or feelings that people have today attached to that. Memory they just disappear fully from their life as the emotions were the trigger.

So eventually the answer to the question is, no the traumatising events don’t matter at all only how you felt when it happened does and what decisions you made at that point is all that matters. When working with clients like this you may also operate content free meaning there is no need to know what happened all you must know is the way in which the person felt at that event.

You know you can think of happy memories and feel the happy emotion, if you let yourself. Just like you can think of a scary or sad memory and feel that emotion.

You know you can think of happy memories and feel the happy emotion, if you let yourself. Just like you can think of a scary or sad memory and feel that emotion.

There is obviously a close connection between our emotions and memories. Almost as if the emotion is part of the memory. Our memories are always in our minds so it makes sense that the emotions in our memories can constantly have an effect on how we feel.

Memories with traumatic emotions can cause disorders like post-traumatic stress and depression. They can also cause other disruptions in your life like problems with anger, fears, and stress.

Medication commonly prescribed for relief of these issues, but it only attempts to address the ‘symptoms’ rather than address the cause. The problem is rarely ‘fixed’ with medication.

The key to long term help with these issues would appear to be the emotional association with the memory. What would happen if that association could be erased, reduced or even changed?

There is research using a medication called propranolol that can be used as an “amnesia drug”. The purpose is to directly disrupt the connection between our memories and the emotions they are associated with.

The study, described in the Journal of Psychiatric Research, talks about psychiatrists at McGill University and Harvard University using the amnesia drug to interrupt the memories of trauma victims. The drug reduces the emotional part of the memory while leaving the conscious part of the memory.

With this process, people still have the memory, but the emotion is reduced or detached. The potential problems with this process, such as permanence or side effects, are not known.

It all seems a little too sci-fi to me, when there are more reliable, established, and safer methods available.

Hypnosis seems better suited for this process since, when in hypnosis, you are using the emotional part of your mind. This is particularly true with traumatic memories from childhood. When re-experiencing memories from childhood (revivification) a person often “feels” young again, rather than experiencing it with their current age and experience.

Before a hypnotist uses modern hypnosis methods with traumatic memories, they must be properly trained. With the proper training, this process is safe, rapid and reliable. Clients often notice a difference after one session.

Addressing issues in this is about gaining real, inner perspective on your past. When this is done, it creates a sense of distance from the memory. A memory that no longer influences how you feel.

Poor work performance, losing sleep, irritability, losing interest in favorite activities, depression? These are just a few things caused from stress. There are many things in life which can cause stress and many different reactions, both physical and emotional, to stress.

Many people think stress is caused from things such as financial problems, marital problems or family issues. This is not always the case, stress can be happy events such as a wedding, children, or a vacation. Stress is about perception. What is stressful for one may not be for another. Many times we blow things out of proportion and therefore causing more un-necessary stress in our lives. Stress, whether good or bad can lead to other very serious problems.

Stress has been linked to medical problems such as chronic headaches, age acceleration, lower immune system, heart attacks, chronic body aches, depression and stomach problems. Many people under stress are also short tempered, tense, anxious and jumpy. The list of medical problems from stress goes on and on.

Rapid heart rate, sweaty, nervousness or simply not feeling quite normal are some ways others have described how they feel under stress. You know what your stress feels like much better than someone else. You know what causes stress in you life. Maybe it’s your family, job or money. People get stressed over many things. It is time for you to take a look at your life and how stress is affecting it.

Stress is all about perception. What is stressful for one may not be for another. When learning to cope with stress, you must look at perception as well. Many times we blow things way out of proportion and therefore causing more unnecessary stress in our lives. Some think of stress is caused from bad things in peoples? lives such as financial issues or marriage problems, however often stress can be caused from something happy such as a wedding or children.

Some people manage stress through a counselor, medications and others turn to hypnosis. Since there are so many different treatments and options for stress management, it is important to research all aspects of the treatments to decide what is right for you.

Hypnosis can help with stress management in many ways. It allows you to change your behavior response to stress and help address what triggers stress in your mind. You will find you are calmer, relaxed and more rational. Your body will be more relaxed, your breathing more steady which will calm your mind. All of this will help fight tension from stress which can cause chronic medical problems.
